Was gonna do Palutena vs Hylia but honestly this seemed cooler, like an alternate history where Palutena was the goddess chosen to watch over the Triforce and went to war with the demon king. Demise in his... Demise key, and speed is equalized for obvious reasons. Making this now before Kid Icarus gets upgraded to Large Planet level. Hylia scales to Pit / Pyrrhon who are 317.9 Teratons, and Demise downscales from Malladus who is 364.43 Teratons so not too far off AP wise.

I believe in the Chaos Kin arc, her first attack against Pit was to appear via Astral Projection and throw islands at him via telekinesis. Though it takes about 30 seconds to prepare, she might also fire her Glam Blaster or Sacred Goddess Clobberlaser (she really sucks at deciding on names) to blast a giant AOE laser that can one shot enemies Pit has to engage in combat with for a long time. If Demise is a mobile opponent, Palu could paralyze his legs like she did Medusa, and then hit him with the giant Eff Off beam.

Palutena based on her boss fight starts with homing light projectiles. Don't think Demises corruption is gonna be much help here, it's really good long term but short term not so much unless the fight lasts for so absurdly long that centuries pass by before either one wins the fight.

Palutena is a zoner and rarely ever fights directly. She only got up close and personal because Pit took the fight to her/she was corrupted at the time.

I think I'm leaning towards Palutena for the moment since she has a far more potent range game, can hinder Demise's movement with paralysis, and probably gets around regen with Transmutation.

Won't Demise's magic mess with her zoning capabilities since he can even nullify Link's skyward strike? She probably would need to resort to using close quarters against him if she has no way to fight off the power nulling there.

I keep forgetting Demise has stellar ranged power lmao

I guess it could be argued that the power null only works within the demon tribes realm due to controlling the realm with his magic, but there's not really anything that gives any indication that there's any special link between his magic and the realm (It's not like his magic only works there since he's seen using magic in the Light World). But yeah if Demise decides to whip out the power null before Palutena can do something like transmutation then it could be wraps for her.
