Khârn the Betrayer vs Son Goku ~ Redux

I have not watched DB(read) yet,so,i don't know what exactly happened in the fight against Carrot, but i know that current Goku will never do that.

Why not? It wouldn't have worked on any of the enemies in Z since they could just fly back, so there'd be no point in trying it.

Nope,Goku will not do that.
SBA leads to Goku desiring to defeat his opponent. If he can't defeat Kharn conventionally because of Kharn's superior durability, then Goku will use every means of defeating his opponent because that's his mindset during this fight.

You are really overrating Goku's Saiyan instincts. Goku fought with Krillin, Gohan, and Yajirobe against Vegeta, and with Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin against Frieza. As a Saiyan, Goku would hate fighting with someone else to defeat an opponent, but after he realized he was not powerful enough to defeat his opponent single-handly, he utilized their help to try and win. Both times he used a Spirit Bomb because he needed to defeat his opponent despite how much he loves to fight as a Saiyan.

Goku can't use the Spirit Bomb because he's alone here, so he will try something else. BFRing him is, in fact, a very plausible solution to getting rid of his opponent he can't kill.

You are defining Goku by a singular character trait, and not by the entirety of his character.

Goku abandons his pride and Saiyan instincts pretty easily. For instance, against Kid Buu he says that it was a mistake to act cool by crushing the potara when he starts losing. He was completely willing to abandon the fight and fuse with Vegeta in that moment if the earrings hadn't been destroyed.

Honestly we should probably make a new thread. This one has gone pretty lengthy and in circles.
