Kessler Stat Inconsistency or inFAMOUS 1 Cole Upgrade

Why is Kessler ranked as 8-B to 8-A or "higher" in attack potency and durability when he was defeated by inFAMOUS 1 Cole, who is High 8-C and "higher" with Lightning Storming in AP, and 8-C to 8-A in durability? It doesn't make sense, so this is either a downgrade for Kessler or an upgrade for Cole.

Also, what is the justification for his regen stats? I know that most Conduits have healing factors, but Kessler never showed any signs of healing during his fight with Cole.

Please let me know what you think
 
Huh, only saw this thread now. And isn't Infamous 1 Cole the same Cole that survived a MCB explosion without too much damage? That's probably why. But yeah Cole's stats should be adjusted.

And his healing I could assume is because all conduits have it. And then again Kessler intended to die so it could be assumed he was focusing his healing on generating energy instead? Not sure honestly. It's not unbelievable considering all conduits have natural healing.
 
I agree with the first one. Someone should fix his stats.

On the second one,IDK, I think we need more input.
 
Made the edits to Cole and David's profile. Could someone look them over to make sure I didn't make any mistakes.

Also, what should be done about his speed, cause it is listed at Hypersonic+ via powerscaling, but everyone he has fought is Supersonic
 
... You're right. I think it was around the time I was arguing for a speed upgrade for Cole. I honestly forgot. Should I take it down?
 
Honestly I think it might be based on him being faster by scaling and visuals compared to the Reapers. And the argument that he should be moving at the speed of lightning iirc. Up to you.
 
I forgot but that was a core argument. I think it was because Kessler could actually dodge the lightning bolts Cole shoots out, which are actual lightning bolts.
 
Just a note.... Shouldn't Cole bs MHS+ on attack speed if he uses lightning storm? Since it is a lightning storm ability?

And makes me question since if Kessler can dodge it, would Cole have the necessay reactions to keep up.
 
His inFAMOUS 1 Bolts and his Lightning/Ionic Storm should most likely be MHS+ due to the fact that they are literally lightning bolts. Same for his Magnum Bolt and Precision Bolt.

I don't remember Kessler dodging his Lightning Storm, only being able to dodge his lightning bolts. But he could also be tagged by said bolts, so interpret that as you will.

IDK about Cole's reaction though, cause Kessler did blitz him twice in the cutscenes. First, when they first met on the rooftop and Kessler "Lept faster then I [Cole] could react, fingers digging into my face." And the second at the end of their fight, when Kessler gave Cole his memories. However, Cole could react to Kessler in gameplay, when Kessler would toss him away, he would stand up in order to grapple him. He did this twice, and could tag him with his bolts when he would begin his rush attack that would usually end in him throwing a Shockwave, which Cole could also dodge.

So, yeah, take that as you will.
 
However, as shown in the posts, there needs to be a calc for the speed necessary to dodge lightning from the distance Cole shot it from.
 
Well... maybe? Although it would make sense for any high tier boss to have this like Bertrand, The Beast, David, and Bloody Mary. Chances are I'll put anyone else at 'possibly' though. You mind doing the edits this time?
