Kessler's stats. (Infamous)

Kessler seems very underrated when it comes to speed, in his fight with Cole he was clearly dodging lightning bolts, which makes him Massively Hypersonic in speed and reflexes instead of just being Hypersonc+.

There's also another but much more microscopical problem, and that's his lifting strenght, someone put him at peak human instead of superhuman, Kessler was able to physically overpower his younger self who proved to have superhuman strenght in inFamous 2.

Hope this helps.

The problem is that Cole's lightning bolts in the first game are non-sky to ground lighting, so that causes a whole debate around the legitimacy of the speed of said lightning. I agree that this needs to be looked at, but I think you have to first bring it to the calc board who will first discuss the legitimacy of the feat, and then will calc it. I'm not to sure, pretty new here.

But I agree that Kesslers speed should be looked at since Cole's lighting bolts in the first game are literally called "Lightning Bolt" in the first game and they come out as arcs of lightning.

May want to add to the topics of this thread, like "inFAMOUS" or "Kessler" or "Lighting-dodging" so that more people could look at this.

Idk about his lifting strength, since Cole's feats of lifting metal beams and bench pressing his way out of the Devourer's mouth only occurred in the second game, after his powers are drained by The Beast and he starts absorbing Blast Cores. But I think it is something worth looking at.

That has nothing backing up what is said on Cole's profile, so I would take it with grains of salt.

Well, like I said, Cole's superhuman strength feats occurred in the second game, after he had his powers drained and has absorbed several Blast Cores, something Kessler had never done.

Though, I'd agree that since Kessler is a Conduit, and Conduits usually are stronger than most humans, an example being Delsin Rowe, who, after having his powers activated, could easily harm Reggie, a normal human, when he pulled his arm off Fetch. Delsin didn't even look like he intended to harm Reggie. So, I'd agree that we should just leave Kessler's lifting strength at "Superhuman" for now.

The speed of Lightning is actually accepted to be MHS+ on this wikia. Considering the electricity displays some properties of Lightning such as conduction and the charging of electrical appliances I suppose this is reasonable.

Does this scale to Cole, since he could react to Kessler during the struggle-grapple events? I mean, he would get electro-grappled and tossed into the air, and when he landed, he managed to get up and engage Kessler right when he reached him.

We need a calculation that considers the speed needed to dodge lightning from the distance that Kessler had to it.

You can ask yourself in the calculations request thread, and if that fails to get any attention, you can politely ask on a few calc group members' message walls.
