How much water is nearby? Cuz Katara with the pool in the crystal caverns swept Azula and the Dai Li. Sure that was slightly off guard but even before grabbing a bunch of water, she still kinda ragdolled Azula pretty easy. Sunset also makes it worse as Azula would be getting weaker as the fight goes on while Katara gets stronger.

I don't think it would. Katata was able to dodge and beat Azula while the latter could throw around massive fire blasts. Even when Azula had a clearer mind, in the Crossroads of Destiny episode, Katara came very close to beating her before Zuko intervened.

I mean doesn't katara just kind of win? She already beat her once when she had an actual water source to use, she blocked her attacks on sozins comet, including lightning. Azula is more agile, but we already seen how this match would go. So going katara, azula is not very good against good waterbenders.

what about comic azula? Shes very strong and able to do different techniques with lightning and got stronger, she can generate it instantly, and use lightning balls, as well as overpowering zuko and outmatching ty lee and suki in hand to hand combat at the same time.
