Afaik sba only equalizes character's normal speed, so Lucy's vectors would be thousands of times faster than what Kaidou can react too, and her reactions would be up to millions times faster.

Speed equal would make so Kaidou's everything would be Athletic Human, while Lucy would keep her Massively Hypersonic+ Travel Speed with Vectors and Relativistic Reaction Speed

Actually nvm, Kaidou can amp himself with Zoan forms and Thunder Bagua, which would not be affected, so he may actually still have a chance

Unless he can amp himself 100000+x his speed (which I doubt, otherwise he'd be MFTL with amps), it's meaningless

Kaito here is moving at like 2.5x his normal speed with Thunder Bagua. Under speed Equal he'd still be moving at like 2.5x his normal speed with Thunder Bagua

for the faster character, anything they got from Amps goes down with them.

If a character has a 2x speed amp into FTL from SoL, they just have a 2x speed amp when they get equalized

Same doesn't apply for the naturally slower character.

Uh, not really, both characters retain their Amps and higher shit, combat speed is just equalized to the slower character. Doesn't matter if they got a 50000x speed amp or a 0.00005x one, they keep that.
