She's able to read and analyze anything virtually instantaneously, being able to determine the personality, abilities, thoughts, and history of her foes with a mere glance. It's feats include

• Already knew the about the tragedy (or what will happen), how it will be called or named, and how devastating it would be when she was jokingly narrating their introduction.
• Somehow anticipated that Nagito Komaeda was coming to her secret hideout given that she had Mukuro and Peko fight outside the secret hideout.
• Became the "Ultimate Fashionista" due to her being able to predict trends, allowing Junko to literally predict what would become popular with society.
• Planned out a gambit where she would lose her memory, assume a fake identity as Ryoko Otonashi, have her sister Mukuro pose as Junko Enoshima, and then have her memory awaken at the most opportune moment
• Fought on par with Sakura Ogami due to her talent (Who's way more skilled than Yu btw)

This talent also makes her excellent at reading and thus manipulating others. She convinced a guy who's pretty much emotionless to be her despair buddie, and that's more than enough to work on Yu
