Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

Idk because Blue is weird. Check chapter 234 and read how it killed Agito. Weird as ****.
It seems to me that Blue just kills Agito like a typical vortex. Which afaik, would be AP? Unless we have some apparent rule that gravity stuff isn't Ap or something, then idk.

Gojo was hit in the back of the head, we see the impact marks, as well as his head and hair moving forward from the hit, which doesn't happen with infinity on, nor would he move it was on

Outside of upscaling from the other shikigami it's made from unironically did Agito do anything or have any feats. Genuinely asking because I don't remember it doing shit other than getting shit on
Had the speed to attack alongside Mahoraga for a prolonged period and survived a punch to the head from Gojo without needing to regenerate, that's it. You could also argue they upscale from Sukuna's other shikigami, wherein he believes surviving against his Nue makes you not an "easy opponent", the ox was ******* up Yorozu, etc., although these were all summoned with 16F levels of output and you could just be sceptic, or even outright argue, that the brain damage made Sukuna be below that.

John Werry's translation about Sukuna's barrier is more accurate than TCB's; TCB implied Sukuna used a closed barrier which is inconsistent with his appearance and later statements of the same chapter meanwhile Werry translated it as the narrator explaining why Sukuna can't use a closed barrier which is more accurate.

First paragraph is still wrong translation from Werry. Yeah TCB second paragraph was wrong.

Edit: Actually wait I read it wrong. Werry might be right on this one

Truly a different Sorcerer.

Everyone: AHH Sukuna domain! Everyone we need simple domain!!!
Gojo: RCT full throttle. What's next

I mean the intent behind both scenes is entirely different which is probably why the new one seems more devastating. The Gojo one was to show the level of damage he himself is taking with the dialogue contrasting the visuals with how confident he is. We don't see any outward destruction because honestly it isn't that necessary for what the scene is trying to convey. The incomplete MS is to show how devastating it is, how massive the destruction is like in Shibuya, and how much the characters have to endure with their simple domains as well as how much more skilled they've become and how much they've grown that they're able to even survive with said simple domains

If 120% Sukuna (i.e., within Malevolent Shrine) can withstand a point-blank Reversal: Red, then shouldn't normal Sukuna downscale by 20%?

At bare minimum, Gojo upscales from 514.24 Kilotons, which he, apparently, generated by existing. A Reversal: Red, even at that level, is 1028.48 Kilotons; Sukuna and Gojo at full power would upscale from 822.78 Kilotons, rather than their current (arbitrary) 550 Kilotons.
