Because Speed Equal only equalizes combat speed and just reduces everything else by the same amount, Stands are summons, it's the stand user's combat speeds that matter for speed equal.

if the summon is at a blitz-worthy speed advantage to the summoner in speed, yes. see Versus Thread Rules in case you don't believe me.

I mean, the change from vague equalization of all speeds to Combat Speed being the thing equalized from the faster party with all other speeds being reduced by the same amount happened several months ago i believe so there lol
