This is actually quite good, it means his Stand's drops aren't limited to 9.8mps, as if the "weight" is being manipulated via gravity, that in turn affects the acceleration of the drops. ****, we could calc the speed of them via the weight of them now if we wanted to. Bro lowkey might already have MHS attack speed based on what we've seen.
Edit: checked raw text, it does say 重力, aka gravity, so it's legit.

Can we get speed via GPE? Isn't that like getting speed from KE, or am I wrong?
 
Nah, the fact it's specifically gravity would be the caveat, means to an end, it having more mass via gravity by direct correlation means it's under a higher gravity and thus acceleration (Like if he made a 1kg thing a 1t thing, that's 1000gs, and we can work back from that). We can figure the effective acceleration via the effective weight increase, it's a bit complex though as we need to calc the fall distance too as that would affect the impact weight and whatnot, and needless to say all scaling and such has to be the same scene otherwise it'd be calc stacking.

The issue is though, it'd need to be calced for every use just about. Its attack speed effectively "varies" now, Its attack in one scene might be different than another so if if it's calced as like HHS in Scene A, and in Scene 2 someone dodges it, the speed from Scene A might not apply in Scene 2 and would need to be calculated separately.

It's somewhat of a good thing, but it's gonna take a lot more effort now.

Because bullets are far more aerodynamic, he has a fuckton, he can shoot bullets from a gun for an easy start-up, his bullets soft pints and explode on impact causing far more damage, pebbles that his Stand can actually lift aren't gonna be always available, etc.

Why even ask this question.
 
He'd have to spend time looking for them, to much effort when he can buy a round of bullets.
 
All this means to me is that Joseph’s hamon noodle technique makes him unironically a better ranged fighter than mista, because he can turn anything (pebbles) into effective weapons
 
Ignoring the fact Mista effectively has homing attack and can hit you even if you dodge or block or from any angle.
 
I cannot wait for jodio to gather a shitton of rain and blast it down at high speeds for the 8-B feat which the next guidebook has a statement of Jotaro's Star Platinum being above all stands in attack power oh boy yeah its coming together
 
Given he shotgun blasted some cats horizontally this chapter, idk, maybe in time he could learn to focus it, I expect that tbh.
 
Star Platnum got progressively stronger and faster (not conveyed that well in manga but shrug) and learned various ways to make use of its power like super inhale , Star Finger, and more, before gaining the ability to stop time.
CD got stronger and faster (this time actually stated), though it never learned anything new, merely new applications.
GE learned how to utilize its abilities in many ways, and even learned whole new utilities of it, such as healing or creating organic material out of objects. Also GER.
Stone Free started off as just a string Stand (ddn't even have a humanoid body), but learned how to manipulate that string to form a 3D body that could fight, before learning how to use the string in numerous ways atop of steadily bolstering her stats battle after battle becoming stronger.
Tusk.
Soft & Wet managed to learn how to make use of KQ's components and generate explosions, before learning how to turn his bubbles into an offensive move that shreds whatever they come into contact with and fire them like bullets, and not to mention Go Beyond.

Every main Stand has evolved to some extent throughout the part, gaining abilities, getting stronger, or both. Jodio isn't going to be an exception, I wouldn't be shocked if he's already starting to make progress given his fights.
 
Gio pre-Baby Face (And only because afterward he could just make a new leg), Jolyne, Johnny for most of Part 7, Gappy, all would have either died or came out of that mutilated.
Only Star Platinum and maybe CD would even be strong enough to rip the wires.

Most MC stands wouldn't have even been able to escape the wire trap. Literally, only CD and Plat have enough grip and tear strength to do so, everyone else would have to mutilate themselves, or would have just been ******.
