Speed Equalized
Tusk Act 4 Johnny

Johnny Joestar:

Reinhard Van Astera:

Incon:
Johnny's profile is outdated to shit but.
He literally just shoots once, blitzes because Act 4 is five fucktrillion times quicker than him, and omega ***** Reinhard, both due stuff he lacks resistances toward, and also the fact Act 4 has resistance negation so even the stuff like deconstruction and soul destruction go brrr.
and unlike other stand speed fuckys, this one is like, literally just because it's basically a gun.

For reference even ignoring the funny Act 4 murder stuff, it also dimensionally BFRs.

And if Johnny dies between firing and landing his shot, it just ends with a tie because the shot will never go away till it hits his target. Also wouldn't matter even if he did res because 80% of infinity is uhm, yeah.

Like Reinhard has a LOT of dumb shit it looks like and even just swinging his sword once is enough, but Johnny's singular attack option just kinda, works, and works hard. And is also fast enough to hit first and is also happening even if he dies so....
Johnny can also shoot himself to dodge an attack too so there's that too, only lasts for 8-12 seconds but the match wouldn't last past 1 either way.

The ever-reliable categorization of Johnny's Nail Bullet as a projectile:

Nah this won't work this time

Reinhards Projectile Evasion is categorized as Probability manipulation (TBH i think it should be changed to a solid Vector Manipulation instead)
  • Possibly Probability Manipulation (Due to his Divine Protection of Projectile Evasion, ranged attacks will not connect with Reinhard, with with them just changing trajectory, while the Divine Protection of Projectile Striking makes Reinhard's ranged attacks automatically hit the target. Due to his Divine Protection of Initiative, his first attack is guaranteed to hit his target)
While Tusk act 4 has resistance to that so it'll work either way

So essentially Tusk Act 4 will work regardless of the divine protection

I do agree it's moreso an inverse of a homing attack, rather than it affecting chance, given how the web novel describes it
A two stage attack: even if he managed to deflect the knives he would still have to deal with Elsa’s attack. There were four attacks and another one right behind them, in response Reinhard raised his sword before him,

“Sorry, but― Projectiles won’t reach me.”

Immediately after he whispered this, Subaru saw a sight that defied the laws of physics. The knives that were going to plunge straight into Reinhard’s body― Their trajectories suddenly changed, they missed his body and hit the wall harmlessly.

He hadn’t used any special magic, nor had he swung his sword faster than the eye could follow. He had essentially faced her first attack completely defenseless, this was an unfathomable spectacle, an absurd sight.

“The Divine Protection of Projectile Evasion―!”

“I was granted it at birth, you see… Please don’t think of it as unfair.”

The knives completely failed to impede him, so their next exchange turned into a direct confrontation. —The Tumultuous First Day, Chapter 21, "The Power of the Sword Saint"

Well then JoJo Character In Equal Speed GG

Would it even still count as a projectile after it misses and it just starts to crawl towards him?
