Jason vs Michael (REMAKE)

Two of the most well known slashers go head to head. Both are silent monsters who wear white masks. Time to see who would win in a battle to the death.

Rules

  • Battle takes place in the Myers house
  • Michael has 1 day of prep
  • Jason has his machete
  • Michael has his knife
  • Zombie Jason vs Thorn Michael
Results
Michael Myers:

Jason Voorhees: 1

Inconclusive:

I'm pretty sure that Jason slightly edges out Michael in all physicality categories and has more abilities that he can actually use in a fight. Granted Myers is smarter but his best feat is from H20 and the only real advantage I can see is him getting the first hit but Voorhees has a much deadlier blade and superior experience so it's the goalie's fight to win.

I think Jason can take this mid diff

Michaels regen, immortality and pain resistance is annoying, but that's really it.

Jason's regen is far more potent than Micheals' and his numerous forms of immortality guarantee that he will outlast Micheal should he be injured

Jason has supersonic reactions and subsonic movement speed, which will allows him to absolutely blitz the subsonic Michael in h2h, and teleportation will let him get the drop on Micheal easily, despite his prep time (you should probably equalize speed to make it fairer)

Jason also is physically stronger, as casually punching through steel, ripping a human in half, and flipping over a car >>>>>>> piercing a skull with your thumb.

Michaels durability feats actually match Jason's strength quite well, but given his skill and speed, he should be able to overcome it easily.

Skill goes to Jason as well, as he's fought through hordes of cops, military soldiers, government agents who had prep and knowledge on him, Ash Williams, and freaking Freddy Krueger. His experience and skills simply outmatch Micheal here.

They're pretty even in intelligence, as a lot of their feats are pretty similar (set traps, outmaneuvered people, etc), but even with prep, Micheal doesn't have much going here. Jason has an intelligence boost from Freddy, which allowed him to recognize a trap set for him by government agents with knowledge on him, and Jason still managed to get the drops on the guys. Jason's teleportation, speed and senses will let him bypass any traps that Micheal sets by simply just teleporting to him.

Jason also has a lot of abilities going for him, and if Micheal should somehow reduce Jason to chunks and overcome his regen (which is unlikely given the reasons above), the heart hypnosis will be the death of Micheal.

Overal, I vote Jason via strength, speed, skill, regen, intelligence and abilities

Jason had most of everything Michael has, however:

-Michael can trick him via Illusion Creation.Unlike many other horror slashers,Michael not just focus on planning trap, he is able to use psychology tactics against his victim,he is capable to form out complex plans and escape the police without getting caught for one.He had battle with many smart people (Dr.Loomis for example) and yet he never lose anytime.Michael can also fake his dead to trick Jason and then he can finish Jason in one moment.

-Jason still got no answer to Michael Possession

-Michael Stealth Mastery can stil help him for a bit. Michael is so good at stealthy that he even able to walkbypass through many people, standing behind his victim without getting noticed.

-Most of people who fought Jason just simple use traps or go straight up killing him with no strategy or whatsoever. While people who fought with Michael can do the opposite

-If Michael had preptime, then he can use pretend to be his mother (Like in part 2).Regardless how smart Jason had become,he can still get tricked by his mother.Michael is a very manipulation killer,he can trick Jason like when Freddy trick him.

One problem with Michael's posession, it only affects his family members. Unless Jason is revealed to be his long lost cousin, it isn't affecting him. (Although after Freddy vs. Jason who knows.)

Edit:Loomis beat Michael in every encounter except the remake series. Also his illusions are just himself, it's nowhere near Freddy's capabilities.

- Jason has enhanced senses, which can help him thorough the illusions, and Jason himself has illusions which can trick Micheal. Also, Jason himself has worked around others who have worked against him who were capable of complex planning (Ash Williams and his little gang)

- Isn't his possession like super conditional or am I remembering it wrong?

- Jason himself has stealth mastery, and has managed to catch onto trained soldier sneaking on him. Also, enhances senses.

-Again, Ash Williams. Also, being smart isn't gonna protect you from Jason teleporting to you and snapping your neck. Also, Jason is coming in with an edge in speed and strength (supersonic, remember?)

-That implies Micheal knows that Jason's mother is Jason's weakness. And Jason isn't stupid, he knows when he's being tricked. The reason why he went along with Freddy's plan was because Freddy has magic and promised to bring Jason's mom back to life if Jason helped him with the Necronomicon. Playing dead gets countered by enhanced senses and Jason being smart enough to know a trick when he see one. He would believe that this guy just randomly died.

Just because it only affects his family members doesn't mean he can't use it on Jason, unless it being directly stated.

Jason is actually a pretty good master of stealth as well, even pre resurrection. He literally snuck up to a guy even when basically in front of him, and the guy didn't even notice until there was a machete in his face. Jason also hung down from a tree and completely stayed silent, and only made a noise when he wrapped coil around a guy's throat.

He can also throw his weaponry with extreme accuracy, and often resorts to using heavily improvised weapons and tactics to take down enemies.

@James

That would be extremely unfair to assume that an ability that is only shown to work on Family members would work on someone from an entirely different canon with no connections whatsoever.

@James

If it's only shown to work on his family members, then we can't assume it works on other people not related to him. Also, pretty sure it was stated to only work on those related to him.
