Jack and Ashi vs The Guardian.

Suppose the guardian had not been killed by Aku, and Jack had found his portal still intact when he returned. Now, with 50 years of experience and an ally, Jack were to have a rematch with the guardian. Would his 50 years of growth and the help of Ashi be enough to win this time?

This is Ashi before she got her powers. The guardian has access to all of his weapons.

I'd say probably not. Even after 50 years, I higly doubt Jack has gotten strong enough to close the AP gap the Guardian had on him. Ashi isn't any better than Jack, so she probably won't last as long.

On one hand, Jack was severely outclassed way back when.

On the other hand, Season 5 Jack is legitimately stronger than his earlier self. IIRC he was able to one-shot a specific type of combat robot that he couldn't manage before.

I actually haven't yet seen Samurai Jack season 5 yet, so for now I'll postpone judgement

Jack is a lot stronger by the time of season 5, so I'd say it's at least an even match. Ashi on the other hand is a lot weaker than S5 Jack so she ends up like Jack did in the original battle.

This just seems pretty speculative. More fanfiction than a VS matchup. We have no idea how much stronger the Guardian is than Jack originally, so he may lose this or he may win; there is really no way to tell.
