Deku is smarter, more expirienced and has overall a better chance st winning, plus projectiles

Whether he hurts himself or not determines the match

He doesn't break bones and he no longer bleeds internally from using 20%. I'm guessing it still hurts, but he didn't actually show any signs of pain the last time he used Full Cowl 20%.

His control is so much better that he can fight with 100% Full Cowl for a few minutes, so 20% shouldn't be a problem for him.

I'm not sure if Deku has more experience than Tatsumi considering that Tatsumi can easily dispatch Wild Beast and have the mentality to kill people

Also if this is Tatsumi after acquiring Incursio, then he should have experience fighting Night Raid who are highly skilled assassins that are capable of completing hard task almost flawlessly and can take on armies

Having the mentality to kill people doesn't make you more skilled that only means your willing to kill and I don't think killing an anime is that skilled at all.

Did Tatsumi ever actually fight any of them while they where serious though ? While Deku still is training he has shown to fight well experienced villains like Overhual and Gentle and in Gentle's case outsmart him.

Tatsumi frequently soars with said assasins and even surpassed some of them in skil such as his mentor Bulat, however that was later in the series

I didn't say that he was as skilled as them at that time tho

Iirc, this key is up until Night Raid vs Jaegers right? or only at the ship battle where he acquired Incursio

Either way, he received trainings from Bulat and Akame where he improved his battle sense. He even managed to survive a fight against two generals without using a teigu and even defeated one after acquiring Incursio.
