I've waited a long time for this - Cthulhu vs Popeye

Popeye looks at Cthulhu and...feels perfectly fine.

Really, I don't know if either can really kill one another, except for that Popeye can outright hit ghosts. This is a tough one.

Tough... I vote Popeye due to having an absurd amount of hax and toon force. I can see him killing Cthulu more than I can see Cthulu killing Popeye. Or at least, incapacitating him

First of all Cthulhu has something very similar to Pennywise's Madness Manipulate.

Second since when Popeye resist Madness Manipulate?

Cthulhu stares gg.
Cthulhu's Madness Manipulation takes days to take effect on normal people and is based on being incomprehensible to them, which means someone who's seen more would be even less susceptible

Could Popeye just... Punch Cthulu far away enough? I know that Cthulu travelled to earth from a distant star, but do we know how distant it was?

I don't know if Popeye can win this. While he does have better combat experience, he doesn't seem to have an answer to Cthulhu's Regenerationn, and while he does have a resistance to mind manipulation, I don't know if it's enough to protect him from Cthulhu's madness inducement.

I'm confused. I read somewhere that a Low-Godly can't be knocked out, but than someone on here told me that was not true. Which is it? Where is this info coming from?
I mean, you knock out people via doing several damage to the head/brain, right?

Low Godly should easily regen from that

If C's regen is as fast as Popeye's, this is inconclusive, since Popeye can keep summoning spinach and Madness manip won't effect him with it. Plus, Popeye can de age himself by eating spinach, so C can't even keep it going until he dies of old age.

I know that, I said that Popeye can de age himself by eating spinach, so Cthulhu can't even win via his type 1 immortality, since Popeye could just keep eating spinach and de aging himself whenever he got old. I vote inconclusive since it seems like they'd be stuck fighting forever.
