Is this a correct justification to use for a speed rating?

I've been working on a complete overhaul of the TRON verse here on the wiki, and I have it so that lightcycles are Transonic for them being able to briefly outpace an explosion, which this website says is 784 mph. But is it valid/accurate for me to use this website as my justification? You can see how I have the speed ratings displayed in the sandbox below.

Dont think you can use that the speed of the explosion depends on a lot of things one of which is what kind of material is used Nuclear and TNT explosions have different speeds.
