Is Regenerationn the same thing as Resurrection?

Is regen as helpful as ressurection in a fight? For example, can a character with mid-godly regen 'revive' himself after being killed? I know he can come back after he is erased from existence but can he come back after being killed? I mean being killed, not destroyed. Is killing someone the same thing as 'destroying' them? Thank you.

They're not the same thing but they often overlap.

Generally speaking, people who can regenerate aren't killed by the attacks they regenerate from.

So if the person with mid-godly is killed (not destroyed) by a touch i.e he dies by being touched, does he stay dead or come back to life?

Unless said death haxing touch has feats of bypassing Mid-Godly, the guy with Regenerationn just comes back
