Iroh Speed

Real quick question about Irohs speed.

In Book 1 Episode 12, titled "The Storm", he redirected natural lightning. Why are his reactions only labeled as Supersonic+ scaling off of Zuko and Azula?

Because Lightning is generally a massive outlier in Avatar.

Iroh then proceeds to get tagged by Azula, other people nearly as strong constantly get tagged by peak humans, bows and arrows are considered dangerous, and real lightning is never shown again.

We already discussed this feat.

^Thats the feat

@Gargoyle Inn you're referring to Azula striking him with lightning, there would be 2 explanations:

1. Azula's lightning is at least as fast as natural lightning, or the more likely one: 2. Her lightning only hit because he took his eyes off her to watch the others.

If your saying she can keep up with his speed, it simply makes her that fast.

Arrows are portrayed as being capable of hurting them as well, and are moving at unknown speeds in a fictional universe.

1. Proof it is please.

2. And as for peak humans tagging them god knows how many times? This feat was already brought up and turned down.

Also lightning bending is achieved by separating the negative and positive energies internally, then shooting out the result through the fingertips, which is similar to how lightning is produced through the negative and positive energies in the clouds.

This and this

Gargoyle One already seems to have summarised why the lightning reaction feats were considered as outliers.

I was not aware that the Avatar and Korra characters had been restored to their previous speeds however.
