Invincible season 2 general discussion

How has this not been calced?

Iā€™ve attempted to calc it. You need to use derivates to find variable acceleration at starting point t=0 away from sun surface at t=360 cuz one of the guys said 6 mins til they reach the Sun. Itā€™s a whole complicated process and involved a lot of graphing and plotting. U can check the calc somewhere in here ig

gets to around island level

Do we scale the Alternate Universe to the Main one as I saw some abilites like Super hearing (From Evil Mark) and possibly creating a profile for The Immortal since he fought Main Universe Omni man and Evil Mark

Okay but what of scaling Alternate to main?
They should be similar enough, at least the first one. The Amazon Youtube clip puts the main divergence as "if Invincible said yes". There are differences like Robot being in his original body though.

We also have the alternate Maulers being comparable to the og universes.

Immortals performance against Omni-Man is relatively worse in the alternate fight, but that's more due to him being surprise attacked + being an arm down.

Allen's profile
Allen has no reason to scale to Omni-Man right now, and shouldn't have two keys right now. He'll most likely get a new key for obvious reasons, but not now.

He never fought Nolan in Season 2, that was a flashback to his battle against him before Season 1 happened.

He got stomped by Viltrumites who clearly weren't taking him seriously and he didn't even try to put up a fight. Nolan stated he wasn't that tough and Mark could take him, so he should just be scaling to Mark until he gets better feats/scaling in the future.

Getting defeated and stomped by people shouldn't be a feat unless proven otherwise.

He should also have resistance to heat for withstanding the high temperatures generated from entering/leaving the atmosphere of a planet.

Thank you.

Check it out again if it's better now.

Some stuff from the comic which i found interesting (may or may not be useful to be added on profiles):

ā€¢Issue 20; Viltrumites donā€™t need to crap for a long time.

ā€¢Issue 75; Viltrumites increase in power through age, but it has a cap after some point, and they start getting weaker with age (similarly to humans) - Conquest is post-prime.

ā€¢Issue 76; The toolock pull, which Thaedus performed by ripping his beard off, was done on his actual from his real beard, not a fake one.

ā€¢Issue 79; Oliver survived in space, after having his jaw knocked off and arm torn, due to his partly-Thraxan biology. - This was also said on-panel by Omni-Man, more-or-less verbatim. ~ Implication that half-breeds can attain features from their lesser half, even if Viltrumite DNA is largely dominant.

ā€¢Issue 85; Conquest was stronger than Invincible (at the point of their last fight), but Invincible won through sheer will.

ā€¢Issue 85; (Q & A) Viltrumite equilibrium weakness isnā€™t one specific to them, but a general weakness all bipedal organisms generally have (it is not more heightened for Viltrumites).

ā€¢Issue 127; (Q & A) Conquest, as of their last fight, was ā€œfarā€œ stronger than Invincible.

All of these are found at the back/end of each of the cited issues, in the Penvincipals column, which was just Kirkman answering fan-mail when the comic was still running.

So Mark's strenght shouldn't have increased by much during EOS.
Why not? 500 years old isnā€™t ā€˜oldā€™ for a Viltrumite like how a 60+ year old is. Omni-Man was at least 2000 years old. Tbh the thing about power cap I thought was obvious, but itā€™s good to have it out there in words by Kirkman. It doesnā€™t really change anything

But Mark was also an anomaly with how much he had trained and also Atomic's involvement. Due to the involvement it's head or tailes if he could grow stronger forever or has a cap. But I do remember him no diffing Allen.

I donā€™t know why he wouldnā€™t have a power cap, but regardless Iā€™m arguing that, at 500 years old or before, he hasnā€™t reached the power ceiling due to age.

Episode 5: ā€œThis Must Come As A Shockā€ (46-47 mins) - The title suggests that there might be something shocking about it, but will wait and see what happens. The trailer clearly confirms that Invincible is back from the space and it is very likely that it happens in the fifth episode.

Episode 6: ā€œIt's Not That Simpleā€ (47-48 mins) - What could be not simple? - going back to space? Again the title keeps me guessing, but the complexity of a situation is likely to tense the friendship of a relationship. So the title could be related to the love life of Mark Grayson?

Episode 7: ā€œI'm Not Going Anywhereā€ (47-48 mins) - The trailer shows Guardians of the Globe attending a funeral. Someone from the team is likely to be dead. Is that someone returns and tells that he is not going anywhere or is it Invincible assuring the Guardians that he is not going anywhere and will protect the planet from any threat they can't handle? Angstrom Levy can be also heard in the trailer saying, "It is good to be home." But does this indicate that Angstrom is the one who is not going anywhere?

Episode 8: ā€œI Thought You Were Strongerā€ (49-50mins) - The season's finale title seems more to be a taunt by Nolan directed towards Mark. It seems like Nolan was expecting a much stronger fightback from Mark, but he is disappointed. However, I don't think we are again going to see a face-off between Nolan and Mark like the first season. It is likely to be another Viltrumite or Angstrom fighting against Invincible. Or is this going to be an evil version of Invincible himself? The second season deals with the multiverse and Angstrom has the ability to open portals to different dimensions.
