IZ's AP is immensly below Beerus' AP, but since IZ is literally the Universe itself, I'm not sure if Beerus can deal with him

Beerus nukes the universe GG. IZ can only win if he finishes fusing with the multiverse.

This isn't a case of in character or not, this is a case of beerus being required to kill the universe, he isn't stupid and has time to think, if zamasu became the universe then kill universe = kill zamasu, and beerus has the range and AP to do it and he can also survive the after effects.

I mean at the point of Zamasu’s death he already existed not only in the future timeline, but partially in the present timeline, so idk if Beerus can just “nuke” unless he affect multiple timelines

I also remember it stated even goku and beerus would be destroyed during BOG. And beerus can't hakai an entire universe like how zeno erased IZ.

Beerus can destroy the universe which zamasu is using as a body, zamasu without a body is a dead zamasu.

nope, he is AE mean his will still exist, thus Beerus still failed to actually destroy him, he just destroy, simply - a vessel. It is like Trunks can only destroy Fusion Zamasu body

Well that still counts as incapacitation, and btw beerus should scale to Goku's NPI, or IZ should get that restricted.

He does though, low multiversal range, IZ is only universal+.
I think he needs to be in a universe for him to be able to bleed into other universes, but I'm not sure.

if he can spread himself to the past that mean he can bypass the distance between universe. and actually each timeline contain 12 universes, if we Goku's timeline can see Zamasu that mean he already take over 12 universes of Trunks timeline....................................well, which mean he already bypass the distance between universe

He doesn't though he only shown merging with one universe and multiple universes when he already fused with one, I'm sure that means he can't fuse if there's nothing to fuse with.

What? The universe is his body, he's omnipresent in space time. Once beerus bye bye's the universe, zamasu will still live due to abstract existence but will be incapacitated due to lacking a body.
