Infinite universes with an edge and center

Why can't an infinite space have an edge and center? Wouldn't that just mean there's an infinite gap between the center and edges?

Infinite universes can have a center... The center would just be the origin point of the omnidirectional infinite space. The Ghost Zone in Danny Phantom is infinite and contains infinite realms, and Pariah's Keep is the oldest part of it (aka that would be center).

As for an "edge", it depends. If I remember correctly when I read some DC comics Lantern stuff, it mentioned the edge of the universe but their was also space beyond the "edge" (where they kept Volthoom prisoner). So technically, an infinite universe could have an edge but it would half to be something like "the edge of the known universe" as that would imply it's the farthest known parts of the universe, not the edge of the infinite space.

However, if it's directly stated that there is an edge to the universe, that would imply an end, and thus contradicts it being infinite because infinite logically wouldn't have an edge/end but fiction does what it does so overall, it would depend on how the verse actually handles it. But it is possible for an infinite universe to have a center or edge, just in the right context.

Yes, something Infinite can have a center, its origin being

Whether it has an edge depends case by case, it could be that that edge is something special like an edge that separates space-time from another, or they are higher dimensional constructs.

In Doctor who, the main Universe know as N-Space has a void (no, is not the void that exist across all other universes) that surrounds the infinite universe, functioning as its limit and at the same time not

What about a cube that's infinite? Wouldn't that be contradicted due to the edges?
