After Fusion Zamasu lost his body and became one with the universe, he's become insane. Don't get me wrong, he unstable mentally beforehand yet by the time he's one with the universe, he's been reduced to mad cackling and the only seeming aspect of his personality left is his desire to kill all mortals (which he basically carried out).
What I'm trying to say is, is that Immortal Soul Zamasu has seemingly lost his capabilities of forming complex thoughts which is very important to note.
