The BFR granted by the Forcejewels only warps its target across the board, so Metal could return via basic flight if need be.

Well, theoretically yes.

Although denying BFR option there's still left other options with shrinking and experience.

if I remember right metal sonic learned only to slow-stop time with chaos control. Can't remember him teleporting.
Even in rivals for teleport instead of using chaos control for himself he pulled out emerald from himself to Shadow so they could teleport.

There is no "slow-time stop" Chaos Control, the ability itself is only to manipulate time and space, stopping time is simply a use of it, if Metal knows the technique then he should be able to use utilize it like the others, and not a limited version

I don’t really get how Amy would have more experience than Metal Sonic

She knows from experience how dangerous metal sonic is from when she was kidnapped, metal sonic however only knows Amy from that time he easily kidnapped her and that other time he fought her and 9 other people as metal Madness. So I think it's reasonable to say she'd be more willing to use her potent hax.
