Calc was done here
Gon sends a gorilla-sized owl ant back to NGL with Jajanken. Ok so we know that this fight takes place in East Goruto.
Now, remember how I said that HxH’s world map is just like a map of Earth, but rearranged? This is the feat where that will come into play. In particular, I’m going to use an upside-down South America as reference. From top to bottom, South America is 4,700 miles, or 7,563.917 Km.
Upside-down South America measures at 170 pixels from highest to lowest point. The Mitene Federation measures 42 pizels from its two longest points.
42 / 170 = .247 * 7,563.917 = 1,868.288 Km, max width of Mitene Federation.
Max width of the federation measures at 492 pixels compared to the distance between NGL and East Goruto borders at 242, and the border of East Gorudo to the shores of NGL at 343.
If you’re wondering why I took multiple measurements, it’s to giev a range. We know that Gon and Killua are at just the border of East Gorudo at this time, but where in NGL Gon sends the ant is unknown. So for the low-end, we have the border, and the high-end would be the shorelines. The reality would probably be something in between.
242 / 492 = .492 * 1,868.288 = 919.198 Km, minimum distance.
343 / 492 = .697 * 1,868.288 = 1,302.197 Km, maximum distance.
Now with the projectile motion calculator, we can figure out takeoff speed. It appears to me like the angle is higher than the usual 45 degree takeoff angle for lowest-end. I’m going to assume a 60 degree angle instead.
For our low-end distance, the initial velocity comes to 3,226.261 m/s. For high-end it’s 3,840.019 m/s.
Next I need Gon’s arm length.
Gon is 1.54 m tall. He measures 136 pixels here compared to 50 for the length of his arm.
50 / 136 = .368 * 1.54 = .567 m, Gon’s arm length.
Abnormally long for a child’s arm length, but that’s shounen manga for you!
Gon appears to punch in a 1/3rd circular motion, so the distance traveled while punching the ant would be 1.187 m. Next we need acceleration.
a = v^2 / (2 * d)
3,226.261^2 / (2 * 1.187) = 4,384,481.904 m/s^2, low-end acceleration.
3,840.019^2 / (2 * 1.187) = 6,211,350.43 m/s^2, high-end acceleration.
Next we need mass. The ant in question takes a “gorilla form” and bulks up considerably. For this reason, I will use the weight of a gorilla, 195 Kg.
f = ma
195 * 4,384,481.904 = 854,973,971.28 N, force.
Work = distance x force.
1.187 * 854,973,971.28 = 1,014,854,103.909 J, or 242.556 Kg of TNT, low-end.
195 * 6,211,350.43 = 1,211,213,333.85 N, force.
1.187 * 1,211,213,333.85 = 1,437,710,227.28 J, or 343.621 Kg of TNT, high-end.
So Gon either doubled or tripled his Jajanken Rock power since Greed Island. Not bad!

This was calced iirc and you don't need light speed reflexes for it, plus like Killua says, if he didn't know where it was, but he did. It's like aim-catching rather than reactions.

You don't need light speed reflexes based on what? Its literally said in the manga. Killua knew where the dart was going to come yes, but he still had to react to the dart appearing then catching said dart. And like explained you could calculate the distance needed to move from a neutral position as light speed reactions and calculate the % of the distance when Killua uses his hand to catch it.

Its said by the chimera as a one off statement. If you truly took it as fact then idk what to tell you.

Why wouldn't it be a fact? Togashi wouldn't put it in there for no reason, it literally says "light-speed reactions".

Every speed statement doesn't have to be fact, especially without something to support it. And again Killua is admitting he wouldn't have been to stop it without knowing where it'd appear, that's clear confirmation he doesn't scale.

Yeah obviously he doesn't have light-speed reactions, that was shown in the panels, but what i've been arguing this whole time is that you can take the distance his fingers had to move to catch the dart and compare it to the distance he would have to move from a neutral position to have light-speed reactions and still get very impressive numbers.
