Yeah, I'll vote for Clank too, quite easily at that. =P
John's advantages are in stamina, mentality and I feel like in tactics, as he's experienced in facing demons whose powers are waaay weirder than those in the tournament.
But these things aren't enough. Clank is a far better combatant, has better experience in a direct confrontation and has a vastly superior array of powers. Besides, being a robot, he'd be inherently harder to damage than John, at least not without John getting something to clobber him with.
So, in the end, the result is + m o r t i s +
