Could sans ignoring invincibility frames qualify as him surpassing resistance to soul manipulation. Frisk and chara are listed as having resistance to soul manipulation so sans ignoring there soul's durability even without KR could qualify.

He already surpass resistance to soul manipulation with KARMA
I know we are just trying to see if he can with KR and this is the only way we can translate ignoring invincibility frames into his move set.

Effect of sans abilities

- Soul damage. Both from KR and normal SOUL magic that everyone can do. Except his is powerful/weird enough to overwhelm/bypass a 2-B's soul damage resistance

- Soul screw - can change the nature of an opponent's soul to make it weighed down by gravity

- Phasing - all his attacks go straight through you, rather than simply disapearing on contact as with every other attack in the game - from this we can assume he can attack internal organs.

- Ignorign invincibility frames - ignoring durability on a meta-level? idk

1. It's basically negating Regenerationn: http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Healing_Factor_Nullification

^ Only for sinful enemies that is.

It's also this for Soul Resistance only: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Resistance_Negation

2. We already got that part.

3. It's pretty much this: http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Phase_Cutting

4. Invulnerability bypassing can ignore invincibility of Nigh-Omnipotents as well: http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Invulnerability_Bypassing

We don't use powers from the Powerlisting wiki. Most of their powers are always covered by other powers. Plus they don't understand concepts of levels of power, so every power they list is always taken to its highest possible output, which leads to inflated results

1. Sans doesn't negate regen, seeing as both the Apron armour and the monster foods can still heal you.

2. Yep

3.Pretty much, but we would just place it under spatial manipulation along with all his other variations of spatial manip

4. Chara is not even close to nigh-omnipotent, nor is s/he in any way invulnerable, so no. Its Sans ignoring game mechanics. It's unquantifiable. The most you could say about it is some form of reality warping that lets him ignore the laws of reality to do more damage than otherwise possible.

Probably b/c the majority of the people here tend to not fully read it and easily misinterpret it by a lot. It's like they only read everything else but never the limitations.

1. It did mention that the user's negation can be cured.

3. Or it could be put under intangibility.

4. It's something like that, yes.

Ooh. I have the prefect way to quantify it. Get this. It's a game mechanic. Not everything in Undertale has to be so meta. Not even Sans. It's intangible bones, but it's not stuff like organ hax. He can't pull a Flash and solidify a bone inside someone to destroy the organs. They do damage for how long it is in the body, increased by the sins of the victim.

Sans doesn't negate Soul resistance either. Chara's resistance isn't even good, and doesn't match up to his normal durability (ironically, Frisk's is due to his fight with Asriel). Because no matter what level, Muffet, Papyrus, Sans, Alphys, and Undyne can color your soul, and that's the only real applications of soul hax in the verse outside of Omega Flowey and Asriel, who are both stronger than Chara. Because the moment it's said that Froggit gives the implication of Soul screw is the minute I downgrade Soul manipulation as a whole. Saying Chara has good soul resistance is like saying someone who resists a 3-A punch is resistant to all physical hax up to its tier. UT attacks hurt the soul. They don't hax it, and when they do, there's no defense for it.

I'm not saying Sans ain't powerful. Sans negates durability, and is the only person who likely haxxes the soul with actual attacks in the game. Counting the god tiers. But calling it any more than bones that can pass through flesh is like saying Frieza's death beam is an intangible, organ manipulating, space cutting move.

All magic in Undertale attacks the soul. Sure it isn't direct soul screw, but soul screw is different to direct soul damage, and resistance to one is not the same as resistance to the other.

Chara/Frisk can't resist soul screw, but they can resist soul damage. We know this, because they don't die when their SOUL is attacked. And sans goes straight through that. It's either ignoring resistance to direct soul damage, or 2-B levels of soul damage.
