How to calculate One's Grip Strength?

Hello,

I am trying to understand the mechanism for calculating the grip strength formula, and I am a little confused as to how one can find the "Weight of someone while gripping the bar", what does that even mean and how do you find that out?

Much Appreciate it.

Here is the link for reference.

Your grip strength is determined by how heavy of an object you can hold in your hand, before you must let go due to not being strong enough to hold it.

I know this is old but I found that you can find Grip Pressure through measurements such as mass-Force per square area.

So would you have to find the Force of the object (mass * acceleration) and divide it by the area to get the pressure.

Would that also be considered lifting strength or striking power?
