How easy can a calc need to be to not require someone to check it?

How simple can a calc be to not require people to check it over, like any kinetic energy calc (an example being 50 MPH Man's KE calc Here, where no person was needed to check it over due to the fact that it was done just by using a KE calculator with numbers easily known by anyone), or even "Other" earthquake calcs where all that's needed is the visible intensity of the earthquake, and the earthquake calculator the Earthquake Calculations page gives?

What about those in which all is needed is an explanation and a link to References to Common Feats, or something linking to the Earthquake Calculation page to explain how a Magnitude [whatever] is a certain tier.

All the calculations in the common feats page are already evaluated, which is why any profile with can scale to said calculations as long the profile show that they indeed performed said feat. With the earthquake thing as long the earthquake feat in question is accepted to be certain magnitude then it can be used the chart with the value.

Do the people accepting the magnitude of the feat have to be from the Calculation Group? Or just a decent-sized number of people

They have to be from CGM, yes

i just saw someone somehow manage to get a character sending a ball to the moon to like, FTL+ or something, so yeah every calc needs to get checked because apparently human error knows no bounds
