How do you if a character is tier 1?

I don't really understand the tier 1 categories. How do you know if a character belongs in any of them? From what I can understand, tier 1 C and B involves 6-12 dimensional characters. I don't really understand these dimension things, s how do you know if a character is 6-12 dimensional? Do they have to actually use that terminology to define themselves? How do you know if they have higher dimensions?

1B characters are above 12D and above and 1C characters are 6 dimensional characters up to 11. 6 dimensional characters can destroy a infinite amount of 5D multiverses and each dimensional character is stronger than the lower dimension thats before them

No. I meant "How do you know that they are 6-12 dimensional and can destroy 5th dimensional and above universes and not just 4th dimensional universes"? I don't even know what a fifth dimensional universe is. Do the characters have to actually say what kind of dimensions the universe has? I have read the description of tier 1 and the dimension page on this site and I still cannot understand these things. How do you determine that they are tier 1, 6th dimensional or above, and can destroy universes that are 5 dimensional or above?

Yeah, its generally stated in the story, either explicitly like in 40k or more vague terms like "higher levels of reality" and "transcendent over the multiverse".

Do you have any tier 1s, or for that matter high 2-As in mind that you're confused about?

the writers go out of their ways to say how many universes can be destroyed or if they arent bound by dimensions.

Okay. But how do you know if it's 1C or 1B if they are not really describing the dimensions of their verse? If a character can destroy the entire multiverse along with some higher plane of existence outside of the multiverse, I'd assume they are at least low 1C, but how do you know when they go from 1C to 1B? Would it be 1C or 1B if they destroyed a collection of multiverses?

I assume that a 1A character would simply be a character who can destroy the multiverse and all higher planes outside of it, is omnipresent, omniscient, has High Godly to True Godly Regenerationn, a long plethora of powers, and is only kept from being at tier 0 by either sharing their verse with beings of equal or greater power, or there being something they cannot or might not be able to do (even if it's something like making a squared circle or making a block they can't lift and than lifting it)

You really can't tell this sort of stuff if the verse doesn't specify. It's pretty hard to be tier 1 on this wiki. If dimensionality wasn't specified and all that was said was that he destroyed several infinite multiverses, it's 2-A. What you described for 1-A is more similar to high 1-A. You can be 1-A just by being superior to the concept of dimensionality.

Also, multiverse + only one higher plane of existence is high 2-A at best.
