How can Master Hand and Crazy Hand be defeated in SSB only by Tabuu?

Playable characters can defeat them in the Classic Modes, of which those of SSB1 and 4 are their only story modes; so, why doesn't that count too?


This is relevant to Kirby as it's argued that the Master Hand and Crazy Hand in the SSB series are the same ones in The Amazing Mirror; and for the question, that's assumed to be the case.
