The portrait is obviously a joke. A very funny joke, but whether it's to be taken seriously going forwards for scaling or even story logic by the HSR team is the issue we're facing.
You're either going to believe yes or no. Not because of the portrait being a joke but because of where you believe Zephyro and Acheron scale thanks to their statuses.
Acheron is:
- An Emanator of Nihility
- Wants to kill IX through device IX
Zephyro is:
- A self-annihilator, not an Emanator of Nihility. You can believe he IS an Emanator of Nihility.
- An Emanator of Destruction
- Wants to kill IX through unknowable means (he throws himself into IX and explodes, we don't know if he's stronger, has any items, etc. We're missing critical info)
If you believe Zephyro is a dual emanator, it's unlikely Acheron is comparable.
If you believe he isn't a dual Emanator, it's likely Acheron is comparable. Both are positioned to be IX killing forces after all.
So I'd like everyone to recognise that what you take away from this joke is entirely opinion-based and we won't be able to resolve any bs surrounding it.
What's better to argue: Should this joke (we all agree, it is a joke) be recognised within the standards of the wiki, or should we hold off for scaling Acheron to Zephyro? The only reason we're scaling Acheron to Zephyro is that the two are positioned by the story to be comparable.
So, is this vibescaling (yes, it is) or does this actually work within the standards of the wiki?
My belief at this point is that we should hold off on saying Acheron is relative to Zephyro. I believe the two are comparable but I believe it's a flimsy argument that is based in too little evidence and therefore shouldn't be scaled.
