I mean, i don't know Strange, but if he has 5-A shields, Homura isn't breaking them.

BFR also requires to be close so unless he has crap AoE she won't pull it off.

And she might lose 2-A absorption.

She isn't 100% screwed on paper, but i can't really make a realistic case for Homura winning

Also, the main idea is that she tried to fight an extremely skilled individual who she one-shots but also has fancy High 7-A Shields and ended up losing pretty handliy.

Which is a feat for Mami, not Homura being unable to beat people with shields.

Strange fought someone after looking into all the possible futures and still lost, does this mean that his precog is garbage, or that the opponent was too strong?

Literally the same here, just replace looking into the future with years of prior knowledge.
