Hisoka vs Joseph Joestar (Battle Tendency AKA Part II )

Fight to kill (In character, though)

Scenario: (ignore possible time difference) Hisoka hears about Joseph killing some beings that were apparently vampires. Hisoka gets turned on by such a tale and ventures on finding him. Joseph got stranded in the woods, crashing a plane for the second time and has no contact to the outside world. Hisoka finds him and gives off a warning shot by firing three nen-covered-cards right by Joseph's face, grazing his cheek. The two glance down at each other, and the battle begins.

Speed equalized.

Edit: Nen visible

oh, sounds interesting,

im not sure which to take because both use their surroundings and are specilists in trickery, but hisoka has the advantage of range, his nen can also be invisible to joeseph while hamon is directly linked to breathing and contact...

65/100 for hisoka because of reasons mentioned :)

but if we give PArt2-joseph his stand than i cant really tell anymore, 50/50 for both

Joseph's reaction and combat-speed feats though. . . . .could make this quite a bit more difficult if not impossible for Hisoka. Yes, Hisoka does have the significant range advantage and the fact that Joseph probably can't see his bungee-gum, as well as significantly higher long-range movement-speed. But Joseph's combat and reaction-speed feats are just stupid-good (FTL, actually), and Hisoka's attack and durability tiers are close enough to (if not a bit lower than) Joseph's that any good hit from Joseph should hurt him badly.

So honestly I'm thinking more 65/35 in favor of Joseph for this, myself, when you consider his absolutely insane reaction speeds in close-quarters, and the fact that whatever Hisoka could do from long-range would have to involve the use of objects as projectiles which Joseph could perceive and react to. Meanwhile, with Joseph's FTL ATTACK SPEED using Hamo, Hisoka would be toast pretty much as soon as Joseph manages to get into close-quarters. There's also the fact that Joseph can use projectiles too, and living plant material makes excellent Hamon-projectiles. ' They're supposed to be in a forest for this battle, right? ;)

Finally there's the fact that Hisoka's obvious psychotic disregard for human life and rapist-like tendencies would infuriate Joseph, and Joseph is the kind of fighter who seems to get a boost when he's righteously pissed-off. Oh. . .of course on the other hand Joseph getting pissed would just turn Hisoka on more, which gives HIM a boost, that creeper :p

^you do realize speed is equalized right read the ops post first. Half your argument can't be used now.
I feel soooo dumb for forgetting that >_<

Now I'd say about 50/50 on this then. Dang. This is tough. Both combatants are really really versatile and are geniuses as using their surroundings to their advantage. Hmmmmmmmm. Dang, I dunno.

Some people are saying Joseph is "more experienced" but I don't think that's true, Hisoka's been a battle-hungry mainiac going around battling strong dudes as much as he can for years and years.

I'm still leaning towards Joseph though, by a very very thin margin, precisely because he tends to win by very very thin margins against deadly opponents all the time.

And Joseph just gets flat out lucky at times.
Yeah man that's kinda what I'm thinking too, he always has the power of chance seeming to lean his way, seriously. As ridiculous as that sounds, anyone who's read or watched Jojo's Bizarre Adventure knows that luck is literally one of the guy's greatest weapons.

Joseph Joestar is on the higher end of MCB compared to Hisoka, he can definately pull it off with his incredible intelligence, combat experience and risk taking attitude.
