Gunvolt Revisions discussion thread

I have the feeling Copen could get an actual even higher tier if we assume something like "X with peaked Anthem", even if not actually done, as the profile says.
 
I mean, Anthem at peak has a set multiplier, right?

Just adding something like "at most (tier) with Anthem" can be added if the above is right.
 
Why Zonda has Nonexistent Physiology?

The page already notes that illusions are just reality warped stuff that's simply actually physical, otherwise Gunvolt and others would get advanced Non-Physical Interaction for being able to hit them.
 
It's limited nonexistent physiology. While it can be interacted with, it technically dosn't exist due to being an illusion. Honesly not combat applicable aside from the fact that it resists things like mindhax for lacking a mind to hax.
 
It being an illusion doesn't mean it doesn't exist in that sense only because of that, more elaboration is needed.
 
It's not conventional nonexistance. I asked about it and a staff member said existing as an illusion would be Type 1 Nonexistant Physiology.
 
Well, you know, context is needed, and they may not have been into it that much, as it sounds like you asked about it without providing context.

As again, if that was indeed the case, Gunvolt and others would get an NPI upgrade.

An illusion, technically, does not exist. While Zonda's illusions can be interacted with if Zonda so desires, they would have some natural immunities that come with not actually existing.
 
But again, not being real doesn't automatically mean Nonexistent Physiology, the two powers aren't a part of each other by themselves.

Make a CRT of that if you wish.
 
Yes, but that's not how it works, to put it simple.

Again, a CRT for that is needed either way, as this really affects a lot of profiles.
 
Alright then. I read on Gunvolt Wiki that Azure Striker and The Muse were taken from Gunvolt and Joule's corpses to be placed into Blade and Mytyl respectively. However, I can't find any citation to this. If this is true, it might mean something big, but I need to know that it's legit before I do anything.

No, I mean that they extracted their septimas and implanted them in Blade and Mytyl. If Blade's Azure Striker came directly from Gunvolt, then that might mean the two are compareable.
 
I commented on the Asimov becoming electricity thing, I'll just restate my question here:

Since Asimov becomes electricity, does this apply to GV and Copen too since they also become electricity via Prevasion?
 
We could use the multipliers, since with the shards it's shown that Gunvolt 1 is about 1/12 of the level of Gunvolt 2. Since Copen's tech pulls off prevasion by copying Azure Striker but still struggles to copy any septima in it's entirity, it's definately reasonable.
 
If Prevasion counts for AP in Gunvolt 1, then that would bring characters on the level of Reverie Zonda, Mytyl Anthem Copen and Self Anthem Gunvolt to Low 6-B.

Gunvolt 1 Anthem scalers like Joule Anthem Gunvolt and Asimov would be High 6-C, not to mention scaling to LAiX since Demerzel is stronger than Asimov.

I almost want to say that's an outlier, but at the same time, tier 6 Gunvolt is super tempting...I guess we'll have to put it up for eval.
 
It would be consistant with Teseo being able to turn people into data, which isn't unsimilar to E=MC squared.
 
Entire data place? You mean how he digitized a building? Already done, 6-A...

Maybe we can get some more calcs like Merak's so maybe things can get consistent in the future
 
Oh yeah, Merak is directly stated to make wormholes. If it's in the tier 6 range then tier 6 Gunvolt might be slightly consistant.
