You addressing it was handwaving everything because you didn't wanna believe it in the face of your scaling that isn't even accepted

That Broly statement is contradicted by the narrative implications of Cell Max being enough of a danger to Saigo Gohan and of course the "strongest battle in history" statement. It also makes no sense because Cell Max was already physically complete, and isn't accepted on this site for that reason

Feel free to argue with the profiles. It doesn't need to be said again
"Low Multiverse level (Stronger than before, as he has been training with Vegeta for a while, and most recently with Broly), far higher as a Super Saiyan Blue (By the time of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Goku is touted as being on par with Orange Piccolo, who can fight against Cell Max)"

Yeah he was physically complete. Then he got half his body blown off and beaten up by Orange Piccolo. He was stated to have become weaker due to Gamma 2's attack, and it was also stated that Gamma 2's sacrifice was necessary or else they wouldn't be able to win. If Gohan was truly able to beat Cell Max at his best, then Gamma 2's sacrifice would have accomplish literally nothing from a narrative standpoint

As I said and I Keep repeating myself when Gamma 2 sacrificed himself Orange Piccolo took this opportunity to give Gohan a senzu bean so that he can unlock his true power and if it wasn't due to gamma 2 Piccolo and SSJ Gohan would've got destroyed before Gohan can even tap into Beast form, that's what Piccolo meant when he said they couldn't have won without gamma 2 because Gamma 2 was reason for why Piccolo was able to distract Cell max while giving the time for Gohan to unlock his true power, this is pretty obvious for anyone who watched the damm movie

Whether or not Gohan is weaker than a fresh Cell Max doesn't matter anyways because neither him nor Piccolo believed Goku could've done the job despite having seen Ultra Instinct. Not only that, Piccolo believed Gohan to have the potential to be the strongest—y'know, despite having seen Ultra Instinct

I'm voting Gohan if not a stomp.

Gohan definitely has the AP advantage here due to statements and for the fact that we're taking a past Goku vs a present stronger Gohan.

Even if AP was comparable, Goku can only handle MUI for about a minute tops before it heavily taxes his body and Gohan can definitely outlast that one minute before knocking out the defenseless Goku.

Gohan's transformation lasted from dusk until the morning light at the very least (seems like he turned it off by choice). That is SIGNIFICANTLY longer than Ultra Instinct's duration. Gohan has a stat advantage and of course can simply wait out Goku's transformation (he doesn't really need to)

The scaling for Gohan is very weird because of statements from Toriyama first he says Beast Gohan is on the level of Goku

Then he says Cell max if complete would be stronger than broly, but according to the Granolah arc we know that Goku and Vegeta are stronger than Broly said by Whis himself

So i don't see how Gohan wins this

edit: i thought it was current Mui nevermind Gohan wins

Gohan and Piccolo state the Gammas are Moro arc Goku level who has MUI. They could sense Moro and Jiren and this is a stronger MUI and they think Goku, Vegeta, Orange Piccolo who one shot a Moro arc Goku level character and is stated current Goku level, the Gammas who are Goku level in Moro arc, Ultimate Gohan and everyone else is not enough for Cell Max and Gohan two shot that character. Then you have the statements saying that the Gammas are Goku level that the battle was the strongest ever meaning above Jiren and Goku proving Gohan dominates and that Gohan is the strongest by the staff and by Toriyama. So evidence points to Gohan being above current Goku let alone a far far weaker Goku. Also Goku has a time limit.

Toriyama never said he's on the level of Goku, he said he was the strongest
Your right he said Piccolo was equal to current Goku then there’s the statements saying everyone plus Goku and Vegeta still would have lost. Then you have the narrative that backs up Gohan being the strongest.

My vote is on Gohan no matter if it’s anime or manga Gohan. Manga Gohan is more cracked since the Gammas are on par with Ui Sign Goku possibly MUI since they could sense Pre Angel Moro and Jiren. Plus MUI TOP Goku only having 40 seconds makes it more one sided he might just one shot but even then that time limit puts Goku at a low diff lose.
