God of War verse slight upgrade

According to this calculations from Yale University, the solar luminosity of the sun yields *High 6-A+* power https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/682240?useskin=oasis

Helios is stated to command the sun itself https://plus.google.com/102738957094111772888/posts/REb8r9L7qBr

Helios is repeatedly stated to hold the power of the sun within himself and that he makes the light shin upon mankind 12:00 and 14:13 https://youtu.be/htAhbBeELeY

So based on this supporting evidence, should we upgrade Helios & the rest of the GoW verse to *Multi Continent level+* ?

Where are you getting that info from? The sun emits 3.7e+26 joules per second, which is low-end High 6-A

Oh, im just blind then :p

The answer is no btw, we're not scaling Helios to what the sun will EVENTUALLY become

The thread he linked mentions both what the sun is right now and what it will eventually become.

The value he gave in the OP is what it is right now.

Yeah, we're not scaling Helios to what the sun will eventually become. The accepted value we use here for the energy the sun gives off is 3.7e+26 joules per second.

That's the heat of the surface, he's talking about the luminosity of the sun as it is right now.

The Atlas calc is outdated, though. It assumes the God of War world is round like our own, but it is officially drawn flat in a conccept art and recognized as having an edge that you can fall off of several times.

We should wait for Matthew to judge if this feat can be applied without problems.

Also, a good piece of evidence for Helios controlling the entire luminosity is the fact that the Earth is as illuminated as our own. We know Helios represents the sun itself as per various sources, so if the Sun was not as bright as in real life, humans wouldn't receive nearly as much light.

^Just one question, Kep. Have you thought of calculating Kratos' AoE attack (Wrath of Poseidon) when in his giant form like when he fought Ares? Because when they calculated it in base form and it was Large Town level you said it would have been bigger if they had known Kratos is taller so I can imagine it's giant version giving City to Mountain level results.
