God of War: Ragnarok Discussion Thread

I already addressed this myself like, 5 times now. It's full of contradicting bullshit and tweets either heavily taken out of context or straight up being leading questions.
These geographical regions tweets as already been addressed by Cory himself anyways.

"The 'actual' God of War Earth's geography is the same as our real Earth's. The only difference between the two is that within each geographical region, there exists a version of the universe with it's dimensions and Earth as inspired by prevalent mythology and local belief system of the people living in that particular region."

Which is hilarious as shit, because it proves that the Earth contains multiverses of mythology. Each geographical region has their own universes with their own dimensions (majority of which within the verse have been proven to be separate space-time continuums) thus debunking any argument that the GOW verse is on a planet.

The Sisters of Fate were pretty confident that Kratos could kill Zeus with it so that seems unlikely. Plus, canonically no one resists fate but Kratos.
He could survive hits from it, and the Blade of Olympus could kill Zeus as well, yet he still resisted the powers of it.

I mean, that's likely just game cohesion being disjoint from plot (Zeus tanks BoO in QTEs and cutscenes on top of gameplay). But idk, you can ask the others how we handle it. Fate hax is a no go.

I agree with Planck on this. Besides, most of Spear of Destiny's abilities Zeus resists via other stuff like Transmutation stemming from Claws of Hades, Dura neg, Explosion Manip and Deconstruction stemming from BoO and stuff. Zeus resisting the Fate-based abilities is definitely a hard-no.

I mean he could still resist it's fate Hax while not resisting the sisters? Shouldn't they scale above it? And if not, he could at least resist it's other abilities

Shouldn't Kratos be given type 4 immortality due to resurrecting at the end of GOW 3? It clearly wasn't regen as there was a blood trail.

Not sure how much effect that leftover Hope caused, even if it was resurrection for a tiny bit. Him retaining his god-powers and being unable to die of such kind of damage would be effectively the curse placed on him by Athena for defying her. Because we know he died, and he was supposed to remain dead. He was brought back anyway to suffer.

So not immortality type 4? Damn.

If Odin ever joined Death battle who y'all think Would fit him The best? (Just take Connections into consideration not how fair it is)

Death Battle rarely features opponents who are multiversal, and when they do, they're almost always downplayed to seem mountain level.

Mf kratos vs asura it's planned so odin isn't out of equasition plus they mentioned inf strength bs in the asura vs Kratos video (not the traditiinal Fight)

Oh btw does anyone have the 8c calc spartan kratos scales to?
I recall hearing About it (well he does survive hades explosion once in the dc comic iirc)

No lmao. Deathbattle features a crap ton of multiversal characters this days, to the point of being overdone. They also make mention of their uni/multiversal feats. The most recent examples being Trunks vs Silver,Cloud vs link 2, and marvel vs dc.

This also mentioned Cosmic GOW and seem to agree with it

They need to make tier 11 characters

@KLOL506 When Helios was stated to destroy the world with his light, was it in reference of the universe like with Zeus, or the Earth?

If the universe, how come?

Don't think it was in explicit reference to the entirety of the Mortal World, but the Flat Plain, not like it acts as an anti-feat or anything, it's most likely just a reference to how his son Phaeton ****** shit up with the Chariot and burned everything in his path because he wasn't strong enough to control them.

Of course, it gets even more insane once you realize Atlas is gonna use that power to bust the Pillar of the World, something way more durable.
