Can't believe we actually seriously consider using WoG for the most trivial of such matters, it's almost as ******* stupid as asking whether Hades can control souls or not, or whether the stars and galaxies in GoW are real or not.

Honestly I agree that Kratos has plot armor and only beats every single God that he fights via his skill, weapons, and superior strength because of PIS.
Matter of fact I was actually planning on downgrading Goku for a similar reason, cannot fathom why we treat him beating the shit out of Frieza as anything other than Toriyama just making him win for the plot smh.

1. He argued how Sisters of Fate allowed him to kill them and how they could have one shot him any time they wanted.
2. He said BoO Zeus could also have one shot Kratos but the plot needed him to win. He said Zeus casually one shotted hundreds of Rhodes and Spartan soldiers at the beggining of GoW II while Kratos needs multiple hits to kill one.
3. He said Kratos only beat Poseidon with Gaia's help and that without her he would stand no chance at all. As for Hades he argued he was heavily weakened beacuse of the titan battle and that Kratos only beat him beacuse of soul hax.
(Yeah he thinks all the titans and primordials are also a lot stronger than Kratos, not just Olympians)
4. As for Hope he claims it's just a useless non canon plot device. (He didn't elaborate why he thinks so. )
He has some of the most bizzare and unhinged arguments i've ever seen. He scales the Olympians, Titans and Primordials to High 3-A but Kratos only to High 6-A (even as a literal God of War, he argues Ares was basically infinitely stronger as a God).

This is the one that gets me the most, Kratos activating the power of hope at the end of GOW3 and killing Zeus isn't canon? What does he think is the canon ending of that game then? Does he think Zeus just randomly dies of a heart attack or something I don't get it

Sisters of Fate were freaking the **** out throughout the novel, them "allowing" him to progress is just them coping about just how badly they ****** up over maintaining control over Kratos' thread. From the moment he killed Alrik they were in full-on panic mode about how the **** to stop Kratos from destroying everything in his path, none of it works. When they do finally decide to cut his thread of Fate, nothing. Nothing happens to the Thread. They can't even interact with it anymore. It belongs solely to Kratos.
LMFAO, Last Spartan? He has more ground to be the first mortal Tier 2 guy in the entire franchise, if anything, it's a plus for the guy.
LMFAO, what cope is this. Titans kill Primordials, Olympians kill Titans. Poseidon literally one-shotted Epimetheus, a literal-no-name Titan who we know would still be stronger than Oceanus, Gaia was getting Swiss-cheesed by Poseidon's hippocamps by the dozen, if anything, Kratos is the one who saved her ass against Poseidon, Gaia wouldn't even be able to do shit if those Hippocamps weren't cleared off.
Seems like he didn't play or watch playthroughs of the same games as we did

1. He is basing the Sisters one shotting Kratos on Cory stating Sisters are stronger than Gods. Since he considers Zeus himself of being able to one shot Kratos, the Sisters can too. Basically Sisters of Fate>Zeus>every God>>>>Kratos.
As for them allowing Kratos to win, he says there is no reason for Sisters to lie about being able to control him.
2. He isn't even referencing The Last Spartan. He is talking about the scene when Kratos dies in GoW II where Zeus unleashes a huge blast and erases all the Spartan and Rhodes soldiers. In gameplay Kratos needs to hit Rhodes soldiers multiple times. In short he thinks beacuse of this Kratos is nowhere near Zeus.
3. He claims Kratos struggles against one single hippocampi but Gaia can apparently tank many of them at the same time and if Gaia didn't get that last punch in Kratos wouldn't succed.

And then they forgot why Cory called them so, immediately after Cory makes mention of the Sisters' powerful Fate manipulating abilities.
Oh, but there is. The Sisters were having their rule challenged. All their countermeasures failed to stop him. They did everything in their power to stop the man, but once his thread stopped responding to their tweaks, they knew they had naught but endless hordes of morons to try and stop him (And spectacularly fail at the job). They wouldn't lie about Kratos' thread being unresponsive to their touches too now, would they?
The same soldiers that Kratos can grab and smash to bits like glass? EVEN WHEN DEPOWERED? I'mma need one good reason why I shouldn't just brush this off as blatant game mechanics.
1. Gaia wasn't tanking shit, she was literally screaming on top of her lungs to Kratos to free her.
2. Kratos ripped the Hippocamps apart with ease in the later stages of the gameplay, right before he tackles Poseidon through his Water Form.

Kratos hadn't even unlocked all the Titan Power Ups yet, at that point Kratos was the weakest Tier 2, he still broke the Chains that held Atlas captive, and while more powerful, Atlas' fingers were still held back long enough by Kratos, which would still allow him to backscale.
All of this goes down the gutter tho, because after the power-ups he tangos with and shitcans Hades, the same dude who now had Atlas' soul and thus his full strength, the soul bullshit literally doesn't play a factor until Hades is already beaten black and blue and has effectively lost his will to fight, as per the Guidebook.

I've always wondered about what it'd be like to wield the power of Hope itself like Kratos did. To imagine that when people think of a better future, they literally think of you, cuz you embody that concept. It's made me wonder what it'd be like if someone pure-hearted carried the Power of Hope. It also makes me wonder what the effects of giving hope to humanity did. Just imagining the power to life people's spirits and give them the will to keep going, it'd be truly amazing to have such a power. Sad we never got to see the full extent of what embodying Hope could really do.
