God of War: Ragnarok Discussion Thread

Heimdall isn't impressive in any sense of the word once you take away his precog. A couple of undodgeable AoEs will murk him like nothing else.

It's why even fodder like Helios really only need to T-pose and shine their majestic gloriness and Heimdall gets burned to cinders.

What stops from Heimdall to just slowing and one shot Helios before he does that to begin with
The fact that Heimdall doesn't use it as his go-to move of choice.

The higher you go up the scaling chain, the harder it becomes for that slow-down to prove any meaningful benefit. Everyone else would just murk by breathing or flexing a muscle.

Oh btw i found some shield item that if You get inflicted With frost burn poison or bifrost, shield strikes hits will cleanse the status and deal that elemental damage to mfs

Sounds like Type 3 Purification as well as Damage Transferal. He already has the former, but not the latter.

Also, is the overall GoW cosmology (which no one would fully scale to) 14 universes?

It'd be the 5 Greek universes + the 9 Norse ones.

Also, in the scan where Ares is hit by the Blade of Artemis, it actually does pierce his leg (down to the hilt), it's only the pain he ignores.

That doesn't seem like durability to me, though Ares should obviously still scale above the BoC since he made them.

For now.

Kratos was like, super tiny here, as was the Blade of Artemis. Ares laughed it off completely.

@KLOL506

Aren't there arguments (like the video I linked to above) that Kratos in the Norse series is like 1000 years old?
It could be. Kratos tells in Lore and Legends Atreus to live a couple centuries to earn the right to say what a decade here and there feels like.
