God of War: Ragnarok Discussion Thread

All we know is that the Spear is stated to be a weapon worthy to be wielded by a God, so other than damaging Heimdall and Thor? It really doesn't get us anywhere else.
There's also a line from Brok/Lunda about Draupnir making Odin's spear look like a toothpick or something.

Alot of People think he is a god tier and even beats mfs from the big 3 like hades, that upscaling i was talking about
Was wondering if i forget Something from chains of Olympus or Something
Big Three solo the entire pantheon, no cap. Heck, just Hades alone is enough, Zeus would be way too overkill.

people talking about thanatos as if he was super impressive, but no one talks about how much more impressive is Deimos, he was not a god, didn't had any special equipment, and yet he could fight gods while being a demi-god, he may not be even top tier, but considering what he is it is incredible impressive to be even amongst the mid or low tiers in this verse

Pretty sure a lot of people are aware just how much of a beast Deimos would have to be to pull his weight that well against Thanatos and even injure Kratos before that, with no godly weapons or magic.

All this talk about Thanatos reminds me when Captain Kuba put Thanatos above Zeus. His list overall was pretty bad. He really did zero research. He also put Gaia on the same level as Zeus and above Hades and Poseidon.

With that logic he should be back to tier 7, then. How was he able to fight Thanatos?

Hell, how was Thanatos able to fight him?

He needs a page badly. He's got some neat abilities. We should also an alive key for him.

Honestly I wish he would have played a much bigger role in the series. He basically ignited the events of the entire franchise along with Ares. He was the first one to defeat Kratos. He should have been Kratos ultimate rival.

Thats..... dissapointing , even the most obscure and irrelevant of gods in greek games had some feats and accolades while Norse games have freakin Tyr as a featless nothing.
Tbh, there wasn't any Greek God introduced who wasn't faught. Aside from Aphrodite and Athena. Hera also if you see neck snapping as something not impressive.

There are a lot of obscure gods in light novels of Greece Pantheon. Demeter, Hestia, Iris etc.

Norse is similar in that regard. Every major God has showcases of combat. Tyr is a special case due to his circumstances and as a device of the plot. He is a mcguffin more and a character less.

Funny thing is Demeter is an major important gods outside from GoW

literally no accolades/statements anywhere on his power?
Well, we could take this...

... as an indication that it took both Odin and Thor to capture Tyr...

Was the implication at the end of GoWIII supposed to be that the remaining Primordials were in control?
