Not even a bit. Not sure where you got that idea from. An enraged Faye fought a drunken and clumsy Thor and barely got out. An almost-redlining-but-level-headed Kratos took on a bloodlusted, enraged and full-powered Thor, matched him blow-for-blow and won. Not even a contest.

What? No. Faye at most has back-scaling from drunk Thor via their fight. Kratos beat a bloodlusted, willing-to-kill Thor while going out of his way not to kill.

....No? There's nothing innately special about it working outside of the Nine Realms. I suppose it supports the Yggdrasil having an overarching timeline but that's about it.

Ehhhhhhhh no, not really, by "Undo his existence" it's more so referring to letting his past self die so that his future self ceases to exist. He hadn't obtained the power of the Sisters back then so he wasn't acausal.

Though Kratos is more likely to gain the powers of the Sisters instead since he explicitly states that he turned them on Zeus, if it isn't just about the Time Travel aspect.

I thought the erasure thing was more so via Time Travel shenanigans. They can definitely cripple or kill you just by touching the Threads tho, that is true.
