God of War: Question on the justification

So, as per our profiles on Helios and Atlas in God of War, one of the justifications we use for their current rating is the statement made about the collapse of the World Pillar, which states that its destruction would lead to the world reverting back into Chaos, which is apparently used in the series to refer to the Primordial Void that came before the creation of the universe, much like in myth.

However, doesn't the word "Chaos" in the series have kind of a dual meaning, since it's also used some times in God of War 3 to refer to the surface of the world being ****** up, like in here? I want to know the reasoning for why we take the first meaning?
