God of War: Abstract Nature of the Evils

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/U...The_Abstract_Nature_of_the_Evils_(God_of_War)

The Evils from God of War, like Fear, Greed, Hatred, going by my scans in this blog, seem pretty clearly manifestations of the specific given concepts. They came out of the Void of Chaos, just like the Primordials, and influenced the Primordials to fight their endless war, which was specifically described to be motivated by rage, madness, etc. It was similarly specifically stated that the evils of fear, hatred and revenge influenced Cronos to kill Uranus and that they influenced Cronos to eat his children by Athena, the official lore entries, and etc.

The Evils just got stronger in the Great War, where there was so much hatred and rage going around that these Evils began to take a physical form and to threaten to fully consume the world, which is why they were sealed away in Pandora's Box.

Zeus in the end of God of War 3 was specifically shown to have been fully consumed by Fear, to the point where he took on a form that was literally stated to be Fear Embodied in one of the concept arts (if I recall correctly) and wielded the evil against Kratos.

This would seem to qualify for Type 2 Abstract Existence and Type 8 Immortality considering the Evils are semi-conceptual in nature and Kratos had Hope, while Zeus had Fear and should fully gain the advantages that came with them. Even if they themselves are not the conceptual embodiments, they would qualify as being Type 2 abstracts since they'd be dependent on the evils/Hope.

Reposting my comment from the blog:

"Basically I'm OK with the Evils being what is described here, but giving these powers to Kratos and Zeus is contradictory and should not apply. Zeus died, fear in tow with much more fear very clearly in him and the world.

Giving him or Kratos either of the above powers wouldn't really work."

I talked more in depth about this with Wind and I still believe that it would be inapplicable to Kratos or Zeus.

I myself am still not convinced that it isn't applicable.

The Evils themselves qualify as such. Kratos and Zeus should get the benefits of having Hope and Fear in them. Heck, that spiritual, gassy form Zeus took was literally him wielding the evil itself.

I am completely neutral on this, but what would Zeus and Athena get? Since Zeus was the one who captured and magically sealed the Evils on Pandora's Box, as we see in the blog, and Athena summoned Hope and put it inside the box as well.

speaking about hope and fear, Based on lurking in countless different thread, in GoW 3 ending kratos releasing Hope to mankind so human can rebuild the world without needed of gods..

I don't know if this true or not.

I still think it's abstract.

Also, Gaia in God of War has several statements and showings that suggest she is the abstract personification of the Earth itself, which I will reveal on a new CRT i'm making. Gaia's standing would affect Power of Hope Kratos' standing as an abstract power, considering that the Sisters of Fate can manipulate Gaia's fate yet they can't manipulate Kratos while he only has a fraction of the Power of Hope unlocked.
