He resist soul manipulation I agree zeref wins most of the time since Gerard can just absorb him as reshi just not that easily.

To reset the universe: Zeref needs to walk through that door and I don’t think he’s doing that easily lol. Plus Gerard has the Hoffnung shield and sword which reflect any damage it’s taken onto the opponent.
