My view on chronological order is to assume release date unless you need to complete certain quests to start another

Well let's just assume release date as sometime quest requirement could be a bit weird and stupid.

To be fair there are enough indications of character meetings seemingly being out of order and/or monsters being new that I believe Pika is probably correct (barring later stuff deconfirming this) and agree that chronological order is assumed outside of direct showings.

There should definitely be a blog post linked on the verse page before the profiles reflect this though.

Anyway, aside from the blog, what do you guys think about my proposal to scale the christmas event character? Albedo would also be upgraded but only to traveler level as it was a sneak attack not a face to face fight.

Edit: Well on Bennett and Amber er side, a new key would be good, don't know what to do with Eula and Albedo tho since they don't really improve in tier just scaling, another key but with the improve scaling for ap and such or just fix the current one? I prefer new key for them but i like yo hear you guys opinion on it.

If you mean what I think you mean then I agree that I none of us thought of scaling Amber and I agree with it. Same with the scaling of Bennett’s durability but the Fantastic Voyage is only not already there because I haven’t been editing the top post .

Since Genshin’s Low 7-B Calc is fairly casual from Razor, and we’re discussing upgrades for Amber and Bennet with Fantastic Voyage, should we upgrade Genshin’s Low 7-Bs to “At Least Low 7-B, potentially higher (Scales to Amber)” or maybe “Low 7-B normally, potentially higher with [INSERT BURST] (Their burst should be comparable to Bennet’s Fantastic Voyage attack)”

I don't know the answer to the first one but to answer your second question I agree with the burst upgrade and am unsure about the general. Maybe scale characters with reasoning for having charged attacks or some other modifier to Amber's attack?

For the first one, there's still not enough consensus but there's the treating the event as happen during Mondstadt like the event said (which i disagree) and treating everything as chronological till proven otherwise.

For the second one, we should split them into key if we go by chronological order since Amber would already have ample time to get stronger and same with Bennett, Razor at this point would already be 7B via beng able to stall the abyss herald till the traveler come and not being a burden in the fight so till we get any new info on char that scale to them, they would still be low7B.

so right now I think what we have is

- Fellflower profile is up

- Agreed changes to Bennet, Mond Traveller, Amber

What we need to do

- Work out chronology of Genshin

option one:

unless stated otherwise through lore, dialogue, or the lack of pre-requisite quests involving major events, all events and occurrences in Genshin are assumed to be chronological in order of release.

option two:

regardless of pre-requisite quests, unless strictly stated otherwise, Genshin events and occurrences are to be treated as happening chronologically in order of release

- work out tiering for low tiers

option one:

Upgrade Genshin’s Low 7-B’s to have 7-B ratings on their bursts, scaling to Bennett’s fantastic voyage.

option two:

keep low tiers not involved in shadows amidst snowstorms low 7-B

option three:

Create keys for the low tiers based on chronologically different time periods, upgrading razor to 7-B in this new key for his Abyss Herald feat (and I’m assuming scaling everyone else to that too?)

The Razor upgrade makes sense to me and I can see the benefits and reasoning of the keys, so that’s what I would prefer for the AP issue.

As for chronological issues, it’s option one for me

So what is changing for Mond traveller? Cause by the chronological thing, Mond traveler isn't getting any upgrade.

Also option 2 for me, even the new event have some quest that you don't need to do but you have to since we act like we knew thing that would only be revealed on the characters story quest or chararacters that we would only knew if they did the quest that weren't needed. So i would say chronological unless stated otherwise, tho that's just my opininons.

Option 3 for low tier upgrade, they clearly have enough time to get stronger even if it would only count for specific thing.
