This shouldn't be just flowery words,

there mavuika uses phlogyston , light from fire. fire produces light. and this light is what mavuika uses. That's why the Lord of the Night mentions phlogiston as light that breaks down into 7 colors, namely the rainbow.

If you read the description of one of the domains in Natlan, the former sage used the power of light and fire.

In one of Natlan's books it also explains that xbalanque uses the power of light.

no it was talking about elemental energy is from philiston by talking about rainbows and how it is broken down into 7 colors not it being literal light

Yes, the Lord of the Night said that because phlogiston comes from thelight realm , and mentioned this as light, not just one, but several times. you can see it here, and when you call it a flowery word, Even if it is stated consistently that it is light, then your statement will be refuted by itself. and if you understand it further there, there is absolutely no intention to embellish the words like poetry, it has been written according to what you want to explain in the text.
 
And it's still fire imbued with light, the same way a sword is imbued with electricity; It doesn't make the sword as lightning speed.

Light literally exists everywhere, so since we're able to perceive light. Would it mean we're also lightspeed in nature? No.

The speed of the fire itself is unknown, the fire being imbued with light implies the fire created the light itself. It wouldn't make sense for something to be created from something that's unknown for it to have a definitive speed rating (like lightspeed).

Genshin should've reached subrel tbh, there's so many feats about characters dodging the speed of light, somehow it counts as a game mechanics. But im pretty sure we would be able to upgrade the verse's speed.

Why do you think it's a flowery word? There is no poetic conveyer of sentences there, I have more or less explained that light is consistently mentioned, which means it is not a flowery word. If it were flowery words, then he would not consistently mention light from different sources also you can read this.

Isn't there a more rational reason, even though you are just arguing with "flowery words"
without explaining why you think it's a flowery word.

the light there meets the 3 criteria here
1. The beam is called ligh by reliable sources.
2. It has its origin at a realistic source of light. (light of fire) . The light that comes from fire is true light, like the sun produces light and heat
3. move straight.

I think that's enough

In game dodging is litteraly game mechanic since we cant measure anything in there
Tho you have that scara speed calc maybe you can get that evaluated
