Anyone saw new dc k.o. tie-in Superman vs Captain Atom ?

I did. Superman was holding back most of the time as Captain Atom absorbed him till his atoms were nothing or something like that. Round 2 had them pick different forms like fighting game skins, Superman went 1 million and Captain Atom went Monarch
Monarch came back and lost due to superman cooling down atoms and quantum fields leading to an outlast
Last round was literally base Superman vs comp Captain Atom who was apparently The Heart of Apokolips' equal

Do you think Captain Atom also absorbed Superman's omega power he got in dc k.o. 2 ? Cause Superman never uses it, tho that can be because he held back against Captain Atom.

Possibly? It was never implied but perhaps he did as he was getting even more crazier once he won that round with even omegas appearing in his eyes. It's funny really as a comp captain Atom in Canon could not defeat superman in a fair 1v1 as he used his origin to nuke superman in an "origin bomb" when The Heart sent them through his own personal timeline

Well to be fair, Atom could have won round 3 if he used kryptonite and red sun like he did in round 1.

He could have. I'm guessing he was banking on raw power to win. After Superman got base Atoms power and did an uno reverse. Comp Atom wanted to rewind time but it was too late

To be fair, comp Atom was being punished by the Heart of Apokolips for trying to cheat and when comp Atom went for the kill move by essentially smashing his own timeline onto Superman's head it just resulted in Superman getting the same powers. Base Superman didn't just punch him out.

Genuinely, why did Scott just decided to exclude all of CA's childhood trauma and give him the most one dimensional backstory ever when said backstory actually would've help benefit the story here.

As I'm doing The New God sandbox I wanted your thoughts on New Gods possibly possessing some form of non duality. New Gods can touch and mold The Source. When New Gods die they enter a place called The Waiternum which is a liminal space between being and unbeing with unborn and unliving concepts and Mr. Miracles powers being able to be exist in both states of Binary Choice and Orion being able to tank attacks from Kamal which comes from The Source itself

This is for the race in general and I'm keeping it to The New Gods only. The Godsphere stuff deserves its own stuff lol
Also its either Higher Dimensional Existence or BDE type 1 as they get outer due to Vertigo iirc. You could make a case for Apokolips and New Genesis being beyond the bounds of time and space and not being bound by physics but the Vertigo stuff is better.

The alternative would have been that Larry Ellison's Skydance Media would have bought Warner Brothers and HBO, and they would have turned their new media companies into Fox News style extremely far right extremist pro-Trump propaganda machines, like they, for example, are currently doing with CNN, so this was definitely the lesser evil in that regard as I perceive it.
