Garou vs Suiryu

Suiryu always wanted to fight Garou but unfortunately it never happened. So let's see who will win, at least here:

Garou before Watchdog Man fight and 7-B Suiryu

Speed is equalized (even though they have the same speed, I want to make sure)

Both are fighting in Martial Arts arena

No holding back

Suiryu has basic knowledge on WSRSF

Who wins this one?

Suiryu:

Garou:

Inconclusive:

Garou should take this pretty easily. He has more experience fighting different martial artists than Suiryu and scales to Metal Bat who is superior to Dragon level threats like Bakuzan who, in turn, is far superior to Suiryu. Even if we assume their skill is equal (cause Suiryu is actually pretty skilled himself), Garou still has every other advantage, and will learn to predict Suiryu's moves.

Wouldn't say that easily. It's before he fought Watchdog Man so he doesn't have his moveset, and it's without holding back /w Suiryu's knowledge about WSRSF. Suiryu has little AP advantage and some nice feats, so I think it's a fair match.

The only thing he got just after fighting WM was his animal fighting style. Garou doesn't really use WSRSF unless he has to, and with his AP advantage, adaptation, greater experience and fighting spirit, he should destroy Suiryu.

Suiryu far weaker than Bakuzan? Which manga were you reading my friend? Suiryu was in a near death state when Bakuzan decided to bash him into the ring and still Suiryu was able to break his toe. Suiryu > Bakuzan if anything.

Not in the slightest. Suiryu had a close fight with Choze, who was strongly implied to be far weaker than Bakuzan. Suiryu breaking an off-guard Bakuzan's toe doesn't make him superior, it just means he has excellent stamina.

Suiryu is far weaker than Gouketsu, not Bakuzan. There is a difference. And he still beat up Choze while weakened pretty easily.

Your point stands, but he was still just warming up before Choze. He had him in the first half, ngl, but he eventually tanked a piercing and an energy attack (asserting his dominance therefore) without any real damage. He only gets pushed at the end.

Basically, Choze is little more to Suiryu than less fodder than everyone else there.

He was in good condition when he fought Choze, traded numerous blows with him, struggled to deflect his energy blast and only finished him off with his signature move, before stating that Choze was a strong opponent. Suiryu is far weaker than both Gouketsu AND Bakuzan, given that Gouketsu was far more impressed than Bakuzan than Choze when they transformed, called him a dragon level threat without hesitation and given that Bakuzan was comparable to or stronger than Choze as a human, then ate multiple monster cells to transform.

Also for what it's worth, Bakuzan is widely accepted to be the weakest dragon in OPM thus far.

You really are ignoring the fact that Suiryu was in a near death state when Bakuzan showed up. You're trying to say character A is weaker than character B when character A was only at a fraction of their power during the fight. We only know for sure that Suiryu is far weaker than Gouketsu like Spooky said and that's all.

Nothing I've said is based on Suiryu vs Bakuzan, but rather statements which strongly imply the power difference between the two. Suiryu is far weaker than Bakuzan and immensely weaker than Gouketsu.

Nothing implies a power difference honestly. Gouketsu was just as excited about Suiryu becoming a monster as he was for Bakuzan. Plus he dominated both of them with the same difficulty. His fight with Choze was close, but Choze is also an incredibly strong demon level threat plus Suiryu had to take the full force of his ultimate attack rather than dodging it (which he clearly could have done had the other fighters not been behind him).

SpookyShadow said:
If he was far weaker then he wouldn't be able to destroy his toe while being very close to death.
He didn't destroy his toe, he bent it. When Bakuzan was off-guard, no less.

Still, we're going around in circles right now, Garou should still win due to experience and adaptation advantages regardless of how close they are in AP.
