My only thing to add is that the FW can copy these abilities mid battle because that's what he does against Broly, who isn't trying to explain anything to him at all. Examples of him copying Genetic Mutations are the FW learning Guldo's time stop, and Time Skip from Hit, being either a technique, or a biological power. That being said, this Da Wae guy wins based on the FW needing to see the attack first.
