Now I guess one last thing to ask of any other fellow Melty bros here before opening pages: are we cool with scaling it to all of the Melty cast, or just Vermillion Akiha tiers?

low tiers are not randomly hundreds to thousands of times slower than suppressed Vermillion Akiha. so it would apply to everyone. and those low tiers would still scale to the Servant speed wank anyways. they get the same scaling no matter how you look at it.

i didn't realize she had a profile on here. i need to check on it. however her profile should have two keys. her first one is fodder that doesn't scale to anyone. but her second one is when she's a tatari that then gets possessed by Wallachia himself and can hang with a suppressed hesitant MB Tohno and injure him a bit. if she doesn't have such a key she's the only character whose first key i would ignore scaling with. though that may technically just count as a Wallachia key since it's Wallachia possessing a tatari body of her that he made.

normal Yumizuka is less of a low tier and more of a fodder tier in her own tier along with heavily suppressed beginning of series Tohno trying not to kill her and restricting his power.

the other Yumizuka is just a gag character. but i guess this website counts that stuff now, so she could get such a key if someone really wanted.

Osiris gets beaten by base and vampire Sion. It's likely Sion got stronger than her MB self since it takes place after MB. but for some reason, Osiris got weaker later in her life that put her below her teenage self/young adult self.

SHIKI is not hundreds to thousands of times slower than mid tiers. he should scale and is still relative to Servants by this website's standards. the only one that isn't scaling is Yumizuka.

that's why I said SHIKI. SHIKI (the lowest key next to maybe the GO key) should still be FTL due to scaling to Servants and not being hundreds to thousands of times slower than the others.

he's superior to 3-5% Arcueid. so 30% Arcueid and other mid tiers are not hundreds to thousands of times faster than him. they aren't even ten times faster.

Nrvnqsr demolished Tohno. it was Nanaya who wiped the floor with Tohno. Tohno's power levels also depends on how much he has fought to regain his Nanaya instincts, how much Nanaya has come out, the route etc. SHIKI should still be in the same range as people like Sion even if noticeably slower. nowhere near Nrvnqsr though.

oh yeah. i was going to ask your opinion on some keys to add on Shiki Tohno/Nanaya, but your profile was private. is there anywhere we can talk about that?

this isn't Nanaya. this is just a really angry Tohno. Nanaya even when angry is usually very calm and still smug even. he's also never desperate even when on the verge of death. Nanaya did fight SHIKI in the manga but it was earlier on and he bested him instantly and said it was even too easy to defeat SHIKI. he just had a PTSD attack of his past with SHIKI and reverted back to his Tohno personality before striking the killing blow.

so yeah. SHIKI did terrible against Nanaya like everyone else. but SHIKI should still scale to the FTL stuff regardless.

SHIKI did do alright against Nanaya in the Akiha Route of the VN. but it was because he ran away and hid while setting up traps to catch Nanaya off guard. any time he tried direct combat against Nanaya he instantly lost a limb and eventually got cut in half and died. well it was kind of Nanaya. kind of Tohno. seemed to be in limbo between the two personalities back and forth. not really an important detail.

i'll wait for the discussion about adding keys to Shiki later because it'd be derailing this thread.

Shiki will get Subsonic with FTL rs and cs kinda like Shirou thanks to Roa and Ciel so you should likely change that up

Its the Melty profiles. The discussion being had now is the best way to adjust the keys for speed to apply the FTL ratings

FTL comes from the calc that's proposed in the OP message, and from FTL Servants being accepted now, which backscales to the Melty profiles. You can check the Melty profiles themselves, as they say the cast is comparable to Servants.

I honestly can't think of a better way of explaining it. Its really just that. This thread was originally made trying to get the calc evaluated (and it was accepted), which applies to the majority of the cast.

The "FTL Servants" thread I posted above pretty much just seals the deal that the cast scale to FTL speeds.

We're now just explaining the speed rating keys atm

this is about the original Tsukihime. i think they said they'll think about Remake profiles later on. and no. pretty much all Remake feats are supersonic and even subsonic. their speed and power are pretty much complete downgrades from the original by a massive amount. their even bad by Servant standards. and i have mountains of scans to prove this if you feel like contesting this, especially for Shiki in particular. we'd need to go off this thread to do so though.
